Funnily enough its that ‘getting away from what everyone else is’ that got me noticed and playing much larger gigs than a free party, even the jump from playing for free and getting paid. Don’t get me wrong, I never play for just money BUT its nice to walk away with your travel, couple’a beers and a couple’a bob for rent!
Being a DJ it is always amazing to see people dancing to your style, tune selection etc etc. The problem I have with parties is when hard trance comes on, there is only one dj from Illicit who I have seen who actually makes me go .. ”fuck me thats good” all the other shit makes me leave the room and funnily enough its about the same time everyone heads further in saying ”fucking tuunnneee!!”. Me personally, I think it must of been the DJs wanting to not go away from whats expected of them and the ‘moshers’ getting exactly what they wanted .. that same old ”wump wump wump wump”

I came close to killing myself numerous times, in the end I picked up and just moved town away from it all .. scrape whatever you can together, ask a family friend, plead with a mate to lend you a spot on the sofa but it sounds to me like you need it. At the end of the day chap, its YOU that needs to pick yourself up, dust off your knees and get on with it otherwise you’ll just sit licking wounds. season 4 is secured and will be out same time next year .. cannot wait! I never get into series but i literally am addicted to B.B .. amazing actors, performances and fucking ace story lines .. shows in how many rewards i guess!
I agree, Iacchus .. but psytrance to me has always had a higher ratio of toss to decent or even listenable. Ive been playing for 5 years and still find it difficult. Production is constant but quality it certainly lacks.
Psychill out can be utter shite as it just sounds like ambient with psypack volume 1 and can start well then go off on some tangient with singing and that same old psypants feel.
best fing to do process is use the link im sending you then in a seperate window open psyshop.co.uk .. cross ref the albums and use psyshop for its sample media player thingy ma jig least then you no what your getting and it wont be download, disgusted, discard.

what model are the decks? i cant really give you any advice as there are various software problems im aware of but just message us the model and ill see what i can find .. to be honest, use the bpm counter as a guide and not to mix with.

And yes i am back, just having a p.c built at the moment and all me kit pulled together so will have my new project starting which hopefully will be playing the mini fests stretch next year from greenman to some techno thing in yorks so all on the up and up.

Dunno if they still sell ’em but get your hands on a couple of Denon dns1000’s, pair for not a penny over 4 ton. The decks are quite cheap but the most important thing being the lazer is actually Sony one of quite a good standard as far as i know – if someone knows different please correct me! Mine got dropped, used for gigs, stuff spilt on them and stayed solid – i sold them for £30 more than i got them a year and a half later.
The stanton C series are good, owned a couple of them which never let me down. Vestax are shit hot, american audio do a cheap pair which i hear are alright but to be honest im now a devout Denon fan. Pioneers … meah … plenty of other stuff out there.

The production, although previously inconsistent in quality, seems to have taken a real dive lately ..
